Okay Tradetime got back to me and he's staying loyal to the Lakers.

So for the 76ers the Commish picks:

Tony Parker

First commissioner pick I disagree with.

Ditto. Interesting at least.

Well, Parker is all-star caliber, has championship experience, etc.  Plus, there's a premium on point guards in the draft.  Last year he was picked 19th overall.

Ssssssssh, don't say that too loudly.

I thought the commissioners weren't going to be the back ups for players

It's fairly flexible.  The rule is in there so that people don't *rely* on the Commish, or so that we don't have 10 GMs asking us to make their picks for them.  In years past, people would just send a PM with a list of names saying "make my pick", without asking to see if the Commish was available.  That left the Commissioner, rather than the GM, scrambling to find somebody to make the pick.

Plus, I think the rule applies to the Commish only, and not the Co-Commish. ;)

That was the plan, the goal was to make the picks in the first two rounds and then hand off the franchise.

Of course since we don't appear to have two more participants we're considering other options at this point.....

The New Orleans Buccaneers are thrilled to select the other player they were considering at 1.29: Gerald Wallace.

Nice selection.  Another guy gets crossed off the Commissioner's mock.

Great pick. I have a huge dropoff at small forward after him.

Getting Wallace at 2(9) is one of the best value picks I've seen.

And he'd like to remind you that the Bucs have tied $500k in pirate mustache incentives to the contract of each incoming draftee. What a team player.

Willing to move Amare. It starts with a soonish second round pick.
