If nothing wrong per se, why did ESPN pull the article?  A threat from the King's court?  I am bothered by the amount of control he seems to have over the media; reminds me of Tiger before the downfall.

I can't believe I'm finding myself sticking up for ESPN, but maybe they just pulled the article 'cause it was kinda lame and boring.

I completely agree.  I kept reading and waiting for the article to make a point, but instead it just told us that Lebron likes to hang out in fancy clubs eating chilean sea bass and drinking champagne with his NBA pals.  Shocking!

I'm disgusted with ESPN, during the playoffs to watch Magic, Byron Scott & Jon Barry sit there was insulting. Seemed like ESPN LA was on way before 2am. More insulting, seeing Bill Walton resurrected just for the Wooden tribute only. How bout the time slots for the Finals? Yet this is all ok with the NBA. It was uncool of ABC/ESPN/Nike to run Kobe's commercial 80 times during Finals. No shoe unavailing, just highlights to make up for the Lebron campaign they had to shelve. I shouldn't complain too much, they did do away with the Lebron & Kobe puppets. Maybe I'm just bias, because in the end they all got what they wanted ESPNLA, ABC, & NBA. ESPN/ABC is doing nothing different than what NBC did for MJ, focus on the star(s), market the best players. Huge ratings suggest that won't change.
