Nate's a great story.  A young guy who may have made some mistakes and been misunderstood in a bad organization, but came to a good organization--from his teammates on up through Doc and Danny and the ownership.  He took his lumps and his medicine here for the better part of a year, but they kept believing in him, he learned and he came through.

And the accolades didn't get him off track again: he was insistent that he wanted to stay and contribute on a team where he has no chance of being a starter.  Redemption is a great story--good for him.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
I think it's odd that we drafted another small 2 who can't play the point, and we re-signed an even shorter 2 who can't play the point. At least we know Nate can play on the NBA level, get to the rim and even get his shot off. Bradley is still 100% untested against this level of competition. But, I trust Danny for the most part and will try to forget Gerald Green and Marcus Banks. Personally, I don't care at all that Bradley was ranked ahead of Wall coming out of HS. It means absolutely nothing. Look at HS phenoms who were supposed to be all world but choked out--Sebastian Telfair being one we actually had on our team...

Well done. With a training camp and preseason under his belt he will be a much more complete player for us in that second unit. Nate, unlike House, is a very good ballhandler and can create plays. Yes he is a scorer, but the guy plays agressive pesty defense, and can create off the dribble. He can also take it to the basket. None of those are things that House could do. I loved House, but Nate is a younger better overall player. Great signing DA.
