More people have to speak up about how he screwed the city that made him who he was over. If he was going to South Beach from the beginning, and most felt he was and that the last minute decision talk was just lip service, then he owed it to Cleveland to have told them weeks ago so that they could have renounced him and gone after some talent to replace him.
Instead, he strung them along and strung them along knowing that unlike the other teams, they couldn't act on anything until they had a decision from him because without renouncing him, they had no cap space to move forward. Cleveland had nothing to go after other players with until they had a firm answer from LeBron. NY, NJ, Miami, Chicago, all had money available to go after other talent and still have money left for LeBron. Not Cleveland.
And it was the Cavs that bent over backwards to cater to his every whim. That put on one of the biggest payrolls around trading away picks and money just to land him the talent he was constantly asking for. And instead of showing a little respect for the city and the franchise and letting them know far earlier of his decision, he strung them out and ultimately screwed them.
Most of the good talent is gone and Cleveland's $9 million in cap space now means nothing. Lebron wrecked this franchise for at least one year simply because he couldn't show a little gratitude, respect and loyalty to the franchise that helped to turn him into a household name.
