To me Lebron just proved once again how big of an egomaniac he is...On top of that his actions to self promote himself (don't kid yourself into thinking this was really just for the boys & girls club kids) was just sickening. The respect I had left for him is gone. He completely screwed the Cavs with his selfish act. Never would I ever imagined such a display of disrespect as I saw last night. He better plan to move to Miami because he will no longer be welcome in Cleveland. I've always hated the city of Miami and this just gives me one more reason to hate it.

More people have to speak up about how he screwed the city that made him who he was over. If he was going to South Beach from the beginning, and most felt he was and that the last minute decision talk was just lip service, then he owed it to Cleveland to have told them weeks ago so that they could have renounced him and gone after some talent to replace him.

Instead, he strung them along and strung them along knowing that unlike the other teams, they couldn't act on anything until they had a decision from him because without renouncing him, they had no cap space to move forward. Cleveland had nothing to go after other players with until they had a firm answer from LeBron. NY, NJ, Miami, Chicago, all had money available to go after other talent and still have money left for LeBron. Not Cleveland.

And it was the Cavs that bent over backwards to cater to his every whim. That put on one of the biggest payrolls around trading away picks and money just to land him the talent he was constantly asking for. And instead of showing a little respect for the city and the franchise and letting them know far earlier of his decision, he strung them out and ultimately screwed them.

Most of the good talent is gone and Cleveland's $9 million in cap space now means nothing. Lebron wrecked this franchise for at least one year simply because he couldn't show a little gratitude, respect and loyalty to the franchise that helped to turn him into a household name.

Couldn't have said it better myself  TP Nick.

And for those people who say the guy doesn't owe Cleveland anything.  He owes them everything!  The Cavaliers were the organization that drafted him, gave him his start to his  career.

He definitely owes the state of Ohio too.

He especially owes Akron and even if he doesn't believe it he turned his back on them.  With out the people in Akron he wouldn't have become the person he is today.  Granted whether he was born anywhere else he still would have became the dominant athlete he is just because if you are born with those genes you're going to be a good athlete, but they gave him everything, and he left them with nothing!

Akron gave him everything and what does he do...

Repays them with nothing!

What a loser!
