He has been rmored to be there today. I don't see how they have room for him but Wade signed for less than he could have had. Still, can Miami do this?

If they move Beasley, yes.

Not the best at this.

Cap is set @ $58mil. Right now, Miami has 2 players on their book excluding D-Wade 4 $5mil. I guess they got $53mil to spend however they like

I'm not the best at this either, but I think there's another $3M they've got to hold out for vet minimums to fill out the team?

I'm assuming Beasley will be gone in a sign and trade to Toronto.

Wade and Bosh both said they'd take less money to help the team improve, so all three won't necessarily be getting max deals.

They have Chalmers and Beasley under contract, but I've got no idea whether they've renounced all their FAs.

They'll be offering Beasley to whichever team wants him in a sign and trade.

If one bites they'll all be able to get max deals. Otherwise they'll have to sign for less money.

I was just looking at the figures ... Miami has $13.06 million in cap space and can increase that to $18.87 million by moving Beasley + Chalmers in a salary dump.

My question is - who would they be able to sign with Bosh, Lebron and Wade on the same roster?

so then they would have to fill the rest of the roster, including two starters with 5.7 mill MLE and vet min guys right?
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

No MLE. Only minimum contracts.

MLE's an exception only for teams that are over the cap.  If you're under, you just get to use your own cap space and vet min contracts.

If all three guys will sign anyway, why include Beasley?  He's a competent player, and his salary could at least be used to trade for somebody.

When you only have seven guys (counting rookies and the three free agents), you pretty much have to keep all of them that you can, don't you?
