First I think Wade would take Boozer, Haywood, Mike Miller, and another guy.

IF this alliance took place you would have arguably the three best penetrators in the game on one team and a nice trade chip in Deng to maybe get an Al Jefferson or something. Why wouldn't Utah trade Boozer for deng? The Bulls would have teams in the penalty so fast it wouldn't be happy. For people to say they are too redundant. Please. Thibedeau will have them playing D, and they have the ability to with that team, and will have them on the break. That team in the open court will be fierce! Also James can play off the ball, and he is unselfish, the guy averaged 8 assists. These players are too talented to not make it work. I hope it doesn't happen or it's Jordan and Pippen all over again with Noah as Rodman. Scary team that would be, but at least the Laker's run would be over.

CSN (Comcast Sports Chicago) has confirmed Wade and Bosh are both at agent Henry Thomas's office with Bulls...

Wow... it could really happen, and as soon as today! :o

Plus, LeBron would be left over... I like this scenario.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

MiamiCelticfan what is atmosphere like around you with the Heat in the middle of this free-agency mess?

The atmosphere is that nobody believes wade is leaving for one second. Everone anticipated him taking visits and that Wade wouldn't give a commitment to the heat until Riley upgraded the team. Riley asked Wade to be a good soldier last year and basically sacrifice one of his prime years with a team going nowhere. Now its time for Riley to deliver on his promise to Wade. I still think they end up with bosh. I can tell you if the dont get bosh, or A'mare or Lebron he may bolt. He's just playing the waiting game and holding his leverage.

Wade is just posturing. He has to play the game to keep the pressure on Pat Riley to deliver him at least bosh. If A'mare goes to the knicks that's one guy off the heat's wish list. They're not getting Lebron, so Riley MUST deliver Bosh. Until Lebron ans bosh sign elsewhere Wade leaving Miami talk is a joke. I can tell you if the have to settle for boozer, he's gone. Riley has to deliver either Lebron, Bosh, or A'mare.

Bulls cap situation > Heat cap situation. Bu

Bulls already have legit roster in place for Wade to step into (with Lebron and/or Bosh or without), Heat would have to get veteran minimum guys. Surely, that means SOMETHING.

Also, why have a 2nd meeting with Bulls if he's simply "posturing"? Is he just gonna say "Yeah I don't really wanna sign with you guys, I'm just having this meeting to let Pat Riley take a big name from you guys.", more or less? Apparently even he can see the writing on the wall if he and some other big name were playing with the Heat next year.

And if Lebron really is reluctant to sign with the Heat, then assuming Chicago would be Lebron's alternate top choice, why would Wade decide to talk more with Chicago if he didn't want to play with Lebron?

Buddy, I think some Chicago fans are looking to either re-new or get season tickets, right about now.

I guarantee you he dosen't sign with any other team until he sees what riley can pull off. He kmows riley can bulid a championship team, but again riley must deliver the goods. He's going to give the heat every opportunity to upgrade before moving on.

me too. seeing lebron get tossed to the side by the other two guys would be awesome. I would guess lebron then goes to the nyets to team with Lopez and Harris and get his but kicked by the bulls repeatedly for the next 6-7 years.

Well of those three (Bosh, LBJ, Wade), LBJ might think he's the alpha-dog, but he's still panting after Wade's scraps.  Wade, after all, is the only one to have won a championship.

It's interesting to consider that depending on how things play out this summer, history may view Wade as a better player than LBJ (whereas consensus right now seems to be that LBJ is about as good as Kobe and both are next in line to Jordan as heir apparent).

What I am suggesting is that if Wade can lure Bosh to the Heat, and Riley can lure a few other good FAs there as well, that the Heat could be contenders for years whereas LBJ may flounder about on a .500 win team for the rest of his career.

I guess that would be an interesting outcome to... wait for it... witness.

What scares you more LBJ, Wade, Bosh and scraps (assuming Beasily is gone as part of a sign and trade) around them in Miami or LBJ, Wade, Rose, Noah, (assuming Deng is gone as part of a sign and trade) and scraps around them in Chicago?

how about Wade, Bosh, Rose, Noah, in chicago playing Thibs defense? That scares me the most.

Even if Lebron doesn't join Wade in Chi...and Wade ends up bringing Bosh with him....then even this line up would be pretty nasty

Rose
Wade
Deng
Bosh
Noah
That's even better for Wade. It will be his team without Lebron's big ego standing in his way.

True..and if Lebron panics seeing that Wade has teamed up with Bosh + Rose to take a shot at the ring, and that Amare most likely will end up in NY....then hopefully in desperation he ends up accepting MLE and joins us.

Anyways jokes aside, I think Wade will be better off with that line up than being in a team with Bron, because I seriously can't see both of them putting their egos aside and sacrificing stats.
Lebron seems like the kind of guy who would have no problem sacrificing scoring. The guy loves passing. I find it a bit odd to hear some here talk as if Lebron has an ego problem that keeps him from playing a team game. Lebron's problem historically earlier in his career was more trusting his teammates too much.

Anything is possible I guess but if Wade can get Bosh to Chicago, possibly without trading Deng, then I am not sure Lebron going there too makes sense.  I would think Lebron would end up with the Knicks with Amare and he still may not make it to the Finals.

what's the scariest thing about the possibility that these guys end up in chicago?

the fact that the man who designed our best weapon against them, our team defense, would be their coach.
