Enough with this talk about Brad and Mike Miller. They're washed up.
Mike Miller is actually younger, albeit by only a day, than Harrington.
Serviceable big men in free agency usually get the MLE, or in that neighborhood, when judging off recent history. Think Sheed, McDyess, Gortat, Bass etc., so I strongly doubt B. Miller takes the minimum.
As for M. Miller, perhaps we would be able to send them Sheed's contract along with other considerations (i.e. money or a future protected pick) for them to sign and trade him to us. This would benefit all parties involved.
For us...It allows us to keep the MLE and spend it on a big man.
For Miller...It gives him more money than the MLE would, since Sheed is scheduled to make a little over 6M next season.
For the Wizards...They're probably going to lose Miller for nothing. This way they receive at least something for him.
