Soooo Avery Bradley. More athletic Monta Ellis with a little less finishing ability?
My attempt to make me feel better over this pick.
Monta doesn't play defense. I think it'd be pretty amazing if Bradley turned out to be a 20+ ppg scorer.
I think shorter-TA-with-a-jumpshot might be the best we can hope for from Bradley. Still, that description doesn't sound half bad, though it certainly isn't a big need for the C's by any means.
Well, we never really did get to see what Tony could of turned out to be with all of his injuries. It could turn out good, especially with a handle and jumpshot. Obviously two major things holding TA back.
My biggest concern with that comparison is the bulk Bradley lacks. He looks extremely small and frail and only manged the bench press twice at the combine.
What makes Tony such a good defender is his good mix of finesse and physicality on the defensive end. He isn't the biggest dude ever, but he can really move his feet while bodying guys up. I'm not sure Bradley can play that sort of D in the NBA.
