Positive: Defense
Negative: Rondo

Rajon has 6 pts, 4 rebs and 4 assists at the half. I wouldn't call that a negative.

The game might as well be tied up.

Best example of glass half empty I have seen yet...I'm not criticizing you, but just thought it was funny.

Wouldn´t surprise me to see him end up with a triple double, he certainly looks like he has another gear left in him
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I know we're up, but I'm not happy at all.  We pull down HALF of those offensive rebounds and we're potentially up 15.

All this talk about "let's hope ray wakes up in the second half and we'll take it home."

I'm sure the lakers fans are saying the same thing about both kobe AND gasol.

I rest my case.  I'm not feelin good.

Good things: Celtic D, Sheed on O.

not so good things: poor rebounding. sloppy passing

The reason I give Rondo a negative because he is suppose to the be the one directing the offense.

May I should give the negative to Doc's sets instead. Having Rondo just hand the ball off and get out of the way is not an offense.

I don't care that the Lakers are shooting terribly and we are only up 6.  Lakers misses haven't hurt them much when you consider that they've taken 15 more shots than the C's via 15 offensive boards.  From that perspective, it's amazing we are up.

I haven't seen the rebounding breakdown by quarter, but we may have outrebounded them in the second.

Sheed is playing good D and has 6 points and 4 boards. Baby playing well despite a terrible pass at the end of the half. Scal with a beautiful 25 seconds on Odom.

Worried that Sheed has already exceeded his average minutes.  Hope he can keep his legs. On the other hand, KG's only played 15.  He's got to avoid fouls in the third.

Come on Ray -- Come on Ray!!
The C's have given up 15 offensive boards and yet hold a lead -- that is unreal.

Lakers should be happy that they are only down by a small margin. We missed a big chance in the beginning of the second quarter.

I wasn't being negative just stating 6 points isn't much in the NBA.

Or you could give some credit to the Lakers' D.

I really don't think Rondo earned that negative. He has pushed it when he could. Has he played his best ball of all time? No. But shooting 3-6, 4 boards, 4 assists, good D. You can't blame the lack of offense all on him. He has set up guys, umm, Ray, for shots that didn't go in. He can take it to the paint harder but I don't think it goes "negative: Rondo" it goes negative: rebounding.

Totally agree. Rondo's been very good given we can't grab a rebound.

Ray is the guy who looks overmatched by the moment out there.

Exactly. We rebound it leads to Rondo in transition. The lack of rebounding is killing any chance to get Rondo into the fast break game. In the second quarter Rondo started going to the defensive glass harder looking to get those chances. He got one and it lead to a Ray drive-dish to PP for three. Can't blame the lack of rebounding which turns into transition on Rondo.

Ray has been ice on offense but has played great D on Kobe.

Difference is Kobe and Gasol's shots have been very, very tough. Ray's misses were wide open.
