Me too, though I'd be scared to get a beer tossed on my Ray Allen jersey.  ;)

KG and Sheed need to keep up the great D inside, Baby is rebounding, he should see some more minutes.

Hey all, I think it's time to reward your friends and fellow fans with a few replacement TPs before halftime.  I'm not trolling, so take care of others -- it's our last game baby!  Thanks all you folks for the camaraderie this year, I'm happy to share this last half with you!!!
Hoping for several (actually double) after the game.. ;)

15 - 2 offensive rebounds for the lakers in the 1st half - when are we going to fix this ??
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Is that lack of crashing boards though? Doc screaming at everyone to get back?

I'd just like to point out, as JVG has pointed out multiple times in this game, it's been a teanm defense on Kobe.  Ray has has lots of help. I'm not buying Ray's defense as an excuse for his offense.

I'm in full agreement.  It's not an excuse.

It isn't an excuse but it is a factor. Ray has kept Kobe in front of him and forced him into the direction the double team is coming from. That is good defense. The Celtics play team defense and Ray has been playing the scheme very well.

The Lakers should be the more optimistic side into the second half.

Their two stars will play better, they'll hit more shots as a team + the Celtics aren't rebounding well enough and have been playing desperately offensively late in the half which will come back to bite them in the ass if they keep it up.

The Celtics need to find another gear to pull this game out.

I'd probably try to tackle Artest and get my butt kicked.  Good for everyone that I'm not there.   ;D

Come on Celtics, get it done! You gave up only 34 points in the 1st half! Keep that defense up and you got it!

On the other hand, a few rebounds and runouts, and we could make some ground.
