Nerves really starting to kick in now. I have absolutely no clue what to expect tonight. No outcome would shock me, just hope that we come out with our best effort of the season and really show how bad we want it..We play hard and intense we will win...just ready to get this thing going!!! Greetings from Rocky Top !!

the Crown and Dew is flowing and i've got the Sports Illustrated issues laid out in front of the plasma (1969 finals, 1974 finals, 1984 finals, 2008 garnett & russell cover with the trophy) and i'm ready to go.

the Celts have just been thru way too much this season to not win this game. i haven't seen another team in these playoffs that wants this title more than Boston does.

We just have to win tonite.

Go Celts !!
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Kobe sucks.

What are the chances that if no one steps up to help him out, he goes into Hero-mode?

EDIT: LOL, I just saw that with my 200th post, I've become Kendrick Perkins.  ;D
Win it for Perk!!!!

I just turned to DJ, who once hit a Game winner in the Finals in LA

All is well!  (first one to mention the Celtics LOST the series that year gets a whoopin')
Yup

I am off to bed for (hopefully) 3.5 hours of sleep but would like to leave you with a very cool story to pass the time until Game 7 tips off:

See you all here later  :)

Very cool indeed...saw Pierce rocking the shirt on his way to the locker room.

I believe!!!!
"Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin' back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?""

This most likely is the end of the Big Three so why not make good use of the last chance they got!

watching those clips of the 2008 celebration, you've got to admit, for tv entertainment purposes, a celtics victory would be so much better than a lakers victory for the average fan. I mean, the lakers celebration last year lacked a ton of emotion compared to the celtics of 2008, Kobe looked almost bored.
