actually it's quite simple who will win.  Whichever team tries the most wins the game.  Obviously the Lakers and Celtics talent wise are about equal.  The only blow out game was yesterday and the refs where kinda leaning towards us i would admit  ;D (Lakers 17 Fouls Celtics 21)and if the Celtics made a couple of their open layup/dunks then it wouldn't have been a blow out.  So it all comes down to who tries the most.

Edit: BTW i'm surprised that you guys aren't blaming Bynum for the Perk injury because most other teams i encounter would jump to that right away.  You guys are classy fans indeed.

Those fouls numbers don't tell you the story of when they were called too during our little run they were called. The refs missed calls all night against us and I WANT HARP on the defensive 3 sec calls that was missed, they need to keep an eye on Bryant on offense he pushes off to get his shot off.

Is there a Perk update

Roland Lazenby writes on Twitter that: "Perkins will play in Game 7. No guarantee of his effectiveness but even if he only does a Willis Reed stroll, he'll suit up and try to play."

We'll likely have a better idea if this is true or not as it gets closer to Thursday night.

Most recent thing I have heard.

I admire his toughness, but the last thing we need in game 7 is a hobbled Perkins limping around on the floor and letting guys blow by him. Go with someone who is healthy. I would start Sheed and activate Scal.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
If Perk is not able to run effectively (cut, plant, move) then he SHOULD sit...  I appreciate the gamer in him, but the last thing we need is a guy out there who's a liability.  I don't want to read Friday morning how Bynum should be inducted into the HOF...

Sheesh,

If the C's can't win without Perk I'd be shocked.
Everything he does can be done better by Baby and Sheed(now that Sheed is actually trying).
And I like Perk, of course he'll be missed- he's an outstanding defender, but let's not go overboard. And he hasn't really been playing all that well.

My hope is they bring him off the bench, and only put him on the floor if Sheed/Davis are either inneffective, or in foul trouble.

I think that 3 man rotation is plenty to win, if everyone plays well, but my only real concern is foul trouble, since I have zero trust in Shelden or Scal in this game.

We won without KG when he was suspended.  We can win without Perk if he can't go.  The other players just need to pick up their games.  We need a vintage KG and Sheed and an energized big baby and believe it or not, we may need Scal.

The C's have this. Game 6 was a trap game. Boston knew they had 2 chances. They let up. Lakers knew it was win or you're done.

If the Celtics board and make their layups, game 6 has a very different result.

I wouldn't mind him starting and giving a few early hard fouls.

yeah i know refs where kinda forcing a game 7, but you gotta admit the Lakers did try harder then Celtics in game 6.  Now it just all comes down to who tries the most wins the game.  It could be Lakers trying harder or Celtics the game can go either way.  Now if both are trying hard then the team with the better resilience and composure will win.  Lakers and Celtics are too evened up to decide who is going to win which game.

well..i think him and bynum wont even be a factor tomorrow. it is going to come down to KG vs Gasol and baby on odom.

as well as not allowing scrubs like artest, farmar and brown to contribute

If that is what it comes down to, then we win. Unfortunately it also comes down to limiting Kobe, and Ray, Tony, Pierce, and KG making layups and open shots, and Rondo taking his head out of his rear end for one game.

Maybe Perk will come out for the tipoff and knock down a layup on the first play, then we will call a timeout sub him and he can cheer us on for the rest of the game.

Like that other guy did a while ago.
