If Ron Artest weren't Ron Artest, he would've fouled Rondo.
Kind of an aside, but I don't think Artest could have fouled Rondo if he'd tried. Rondo was moving too fast.
Random rules question, but if Artest fouled him before he caught the ball, but while it was still in the air, would it have been a technical foul? I know they can't foul someone off the ball in the last two minutes, but would that count?
I agree though, it would have been incredibly hard to foul Rondo in that situation without either giving a hard foul, or allowing him to get an and-1. He was already in his shooting motion pretty much when he caught it.
edit: I thought this was talking about a different play...but the question still stands.
