I don't know if KG's shoulder and Perk's wrists have something to do with the one handed rebounds. They seem to be the main guys having that problem.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Finnaly some brokem plays go down for us, a big shot right there. Looks like Ray gave all he had in game 2, I would play nate or Tony instead

Great headsup play by KG.

But we just got outscored in a half where we clearly outplayed the Lakers.  Missing easy shots and getting sloppy is costing us dearly.

We need to go more to KG in the post this half - a LOT more.  He's looking very good and is still a great passer through the paint and to the perimeter.

I am as upset with the officiating tonight as I've been all playoffs.

But we make SO many stupid fundamental plays - one-handed rebounding? What is that?

That's become a KG special. I wonder if he can't jump high enough with both hands raised and that's why he's going up with one hand. Either way - his rebounding has fallen off a cliff this year (this is opinion - I have no data to support it - just seems like it).

huge. finally a bounce goes our way in this game.

only down 3, and we had a ton of missed opportunities. Celts have to feel like they can take this one.

  • GOT IT!!!
The refs have very little to do with that first half. C's offense stinks. This is the offense played the majority of the regular season.

Rondo standing around running the clock down and playing one on one basketball. If the shots aren't falling they stop playing.

Mike Breen said just before the half: "Celtics shooting poorly but trailing by only 4." Unfortunately, that could be Boston's refrain for the entire series: they're so close, DESPITE PLAYING POORLY. Good grief, just play halfway decent and you'll WIN, for pete's sake!!!

I'd play TA for his defense on Kobe.

terrible half. still, only down 3. still, plenty of good looks that aren't dropping. we better get our offense going asap, or else we'll be down 3-1.

Yep. If they can all most make it back from 17 down, they can overcome a one-possession game.

Our offense stunk that quarter and we're only down 3. I'll take it.

too much standing around on offense. they need to attack the rim and play through KG in the post
