If Ray isn't producing in the 2nd half, put him out right away and insert Nate at PG and Rondo at SG to guard Kobe. We can't allow Ray to stay too much on the floor if he sucks like that. And play on KG!!

LA doesn't look like the better team.

It's the Celtics that look like an inept team more than the Lakers looking better.

It's "better by default".

That don't mean dink.

If the Celtics make their freaking layups and their free throws they blow LA out of the water.

Ugh, I do not know why I even bother listening to the half time show. Terrible.

Magic didn't know what he was talking about.  The Laker defense wasn't thaaaat great.  Jon Barry said it perfectly.  It was terrible, pathetic, can't finish at the rim.

Wilbon too...it's almost getting at that point where the better team is starting to truly be solidified.

Other random thoughts on things we have to do next season

- Get a back-up PG who'll be part of the rotation. I don't think Rajon is cut for weeks of playing heavy minutes.

- DNP-CD Sheed until late March

- Teach our players again and again how to box out. Watching our rebounding is often painful enough to bring a tear to my eyes.

- Start assessing missed FT fees

- Extra layup drills in practice
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Worst stat for us of the night:  Rajon Rondo, 1 assist

It's understandable...no one can buy a basket save for Pierce and Nate Robinson/Baby.

Exactly. He could easily have 5 or 6 assists, but no one's hitting anything.

Rondo can't guard Kobe.

I agree, but the time for "ifs" is running out

I'm just saying. He was right. And he has been generally impressed by Boston when others haven't been. There's no bias there.

Wilbon has it right too - LA looks like the better team.

If Boston wants a bunch of praise, they should turn it around in the second half.

That means the Lakers must´ve played pathetic, too, but you won´t hear one word about that.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

There seems to be a correlation between when Ray stinks, and when the whole team stinks.

The thing is...there really shouldn't be "fifs" on these kinds of stuff.

I mean they are professionals.

They are playing on the biggest stage.

They have to get the job done....period.

Yeah, but usually Ray looks ineffective because we aren't getting him the ball.

Right now, he can't do anything with the ball.

BTW it looks like we won't see much Bynum in the half - gotta attack the boards and the paint going forward.

Celtics have got this game, no worries.  Look at the shots they've taken, not the ones they've missed.  If they continue to get those same shots, they aren't going to shoot 40% in the 2nd half.  And the Lakers probably aren't going to shoot near 50% either.
