LA doesn't look like the better team.

It's the Celtics that look like an inept team more than the Lakers looking better.

It's "better by default".

That don't mean dink.

If the Celtics make their freaking layups and their free throws they blow LA out of the water.

I agree, but the time for "ifs" is running out

The thing is...there really shouldn't be "fifs" on these kinds of stuff.

I mean they are professionals.

They are playing on the biggest stage.

They have to get the job done....period.

And this is why the analysts are beating them up. BAD RESULTS.

They don't need to be coddled. They need to execute.

There seems to be a correlation between when Ray stinks, and when the whole team stinks.

I hate the term X-Factor but Ray is that for this series.  Kobe is athletic enough that he can sag on Rondo for long enough that he is forced into Gasol and Bynum.  If Ray can get off the screens and get open it forces Kobe to shade him. That forces the Celtics into too much pick and roll and the Laker's are frontcourt can move switch.

C's need someone to draw a double team and open the Laker's defense and create some space for ball movement.

Of course, but there is 24 minutes left---and the kind of looks The C's are getting, well, they're better than if the offense was looking horrible in terms of the kind of looks---they need to make them but I'd rather they be missing good looks than not getting good looks at all.

No Bynum? That is a game-changer.

Large advantage in the Celtics favour.

BTW it looks like we won't see much Bynum in the half - gotta attack the boards and the paint going forward.
that's not good from a fan perspective.  should the C's win this game and series, I want them to beat LA at full strength.

Oh god....what a prayer. Nothing you can do about that.

And I agree-JVG that is not a three-second violation---while Bynum has been there all series and they call that absurd one???? ??? ??? ??? ???
