Well, I was hoping we would be within the 10-6 points deficit at halftime and it looked like we could make it but a couple of lost rebounds, missed shots and FTs killed us.

It's going to be tough but we can do it though. Kobe is in "ballhog" mode, our D has been way better. Eventually our wide open shots have to start falling, right? And Pierce and Ray to get going?

We will see but we have to strike hard in the 3rd quarter.

You knew it wasn't our night...after Luke Walton hit that rainbow jumper with the clock expiring---Followed by that Banked in 3 pointer by Odom---RIDICULOUS.

All the last second/falling out of bounds/behind the back PANIC shots are going IN for LA----while we can't hit the easiest shots.

The reffing, its stinks. It affects the game due to rotations, how aggressive you can be, especially when LA gets away with a ton. What kills me is the media mentions it but acts like its bad both ways or that LA is getting screwed. This is sad because it reveals them to be intellectually deficient.

However, we also have played poorly on offense (Ray, Pierce, the bench outside of Nate) with some bad D.

A whole new half coming up. Boston can still get this. Look at the bricks we threw up in this half. Being down 12 is rough and it won't be easy, but this is still a game we can get. Defense. Defense. Defense.
LA usually has good 3rd quarters. We need to come out strong.

Atrocious for most of the half at both ends of the court

I love Rondo, but he is now 4-13 from the line in this series. If you want to be an elite player, that cannot happen.

Pau Pierce is now 9-33 in this series.

If they play the same way in the second half this will be a repeat of game 1.

this team cant handle success....they play better on the verge of going down in a series. unless they get it together game 4 will pretty much decide the series

This is the most frustrating game ever. I think i'm gonna explode soon.

I take heart from the fact that Ray and Paul haven't caught fire, and our great comeback from 2008.  Rolls and balls went their way, but even in bball you make your own luck.  If it weren't for those reasons to hope I'd be tossing bottles at the TV.

OK, maybe just near the TV.

I feel like this team was on the verge of pulling close so many times.  Just can't string good play on both ends together to get this score at least tied.

this game was decided at 9 am when they assigned these 3 turds to call this game. i dont think bynum has been called for a foul in this series

Dude, please. Please. We all know these officials are a mess tonight, we knew it all day, some of us (cough, me) thought the refs would be the story and the difference and the Lakers would win.

However, this halftime score is not the refs. Yes, I agree, they have made some crappy calls, but the Celtics are 6-12 from the line, have brought a big old bag of bricks to the Garden and have made it hard on themselves with some far-too-long sports of questionable defense.

I blamed the refs at 9am for the loss I envisioned. I cannot blame them for the horror I just sat through. This is all on the Green.

Pierce, needs to shut the heck up after games and play basketball. He has been terrible.

Give me a break. Like his playing with the crowd has anything to do with how this game is going.

Pierce and Ray were pretty bad.  They didn't move the ball, they missed most of their shots, many ill-advised, and they haven't been making it up with hustle/defense.

The game turned when we tried to punish the Pierce-Walton match-up and stopped going through Rondo-KG.

The Lakers haven't really impressed though despite their lead.  They've just been opportunistic and gotten some friendly bounces.  This game is still winnable.

Foul shooting is unacceptably bad, junior high school bad. No ball movement. Not enough motion away from the ball. 47 percent shooting won't get it on the other end.

Game 1 redux. We won't get back in this game unless the execution goes up several notches.
