I thought the interview Howard did showed how big his EGO really is. Not to mention, he is a dirty player that seems to get away with it because he is "Superman"

I believe its been confirmed that Pierce's twitter account was hacked.

I've hated Howard for quite some time. I didn't like it when he'd stare at his hand after he made a basket (especially with his limited offensive game) and all of that preening around in a superman cape was  pretty ridiculous.

This is my guess too.  Or else some hacker wasted a golden opportunity.

I did lose some respect for his takedown of Pierce, but I forgive him for it. He needs to do better than that, though
Howard has a long history of acting like a thug. I've seen him push, shove, and elbow people after a whistle multiple times. I still remember how he took a swing at Rondo several of seasons or so ago. So in view of these, yesterday's tackle does not surprise me at all.

I understand he hates hack-a-Dwight, but this is not acceptable and the league should take care of it.
He's the most incredible physical specimen in the league, but he's a cheap shot artist rather than a real tough guy.  Perk is a real tough guy.

When Dwight hit Paul, in that time when you're thinking there COULD be a fight, I got to thinking...

For all of his physical attributes, Dwight Howard wouldn't be that intimidating in a fight.  I think I'd be more scared of Nate Robinson (that little dude is CRAZY).

You guys are both crazy. Dwight is strong quick and would easily have knocked Paul out if it came to it. (I'm glad it didn't).

I think Dwight is just a fun loving jolly guy, him laughing on the court does not mean he's not (especially because they had all the momentum when he did it).

The halftime segment they did with him interviewing himself was conceited but what great player in the NBA is conceited. (After we won the title Paul Pierce said he was the best player in the world, he also said he's one of the greatest shooters ever this year). More than anything I think that segment was about Dwight being a goofball.

As far as responding to an opponent saying that his team was going to be swept, how did you expect him to react? Don't really believe he did anything wrong.
