I actually think the calls have really gone in our favor this series.  I think Orlando has a right to be upset with some of the officiating that happened.  We've still beaten them fair and square by playing better basketball, but I can understand how the last couple of games could be upsetting to Magic fans.

That said, this was a weird moment from DeRosa.

Watching what happened...it was just really odd, a "what just happened" sort of thing.  I'd love it if someone could dig up some audio of the interaction.

Regarding calls in our favor, I think the physicalness is certainly in our favor, but seeing how so many media outlets are already seeming to be marketing a Celtics/Lakers finals with only two games down in each series, I'd say the league is reading the dollar signs in the tea leaves.  Orlando and PHX just don't have the draw of a BOS/LA series.  These are supposed to be hard times for the league, after all...

I agree with both of these paragraphs.

DeRosa is not a new ref.  He must know that he can't mess with fans, even playfully.  I think he must have just got caught up in the moment and wasn't thinking.  If a fan was really bothering him that much he should have just told security and they could dealt with it.

I also agree with your second paragraph.  I just feel bad knowing what that was like being on the bad end of the calls during the Cleveland series.
