Ah, now this is what makes the Celtics' fans great. We know how to find enjoyment in the Lakers simply losing. It doesn't matter how it comes.

It's the inferiority complex, they really can't validate themselves until they beat us themselves.

Go Phoenix!

Be careful what you wish for... you might just get it.

(This from the fan base whose team intentionally lost in 86 so they wouldn't have to face the greatest team of all time.)

Beat Magic First. If C's get past Magic, Lakers match-up will be much easier than chasing Suns all over the court. Lakers have diversified their offense, but they still need Kobe to score 30-40 to win. Celtics have not 1 but 2 kobe stoppers. The 2 Allen's play Kobe as well as anyone in the NBA. I wonder which teams is stern rooting for.

in the last 2 Cav games we seemed to be in favor official wise, and i got to my crazy conspiracy theory thinking that maybe just maybe stern wants a LAL BOS finals rematch, which would generate sales out the roof.

So confident and wrong at the same time. If I were them, I would be praying to all things holy that the Magic beat us.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Yeah, I agree. Refs were like we can only take you so far Lebron, but your team sucks. A Referee revolt. Very strange indeed seeing Celtics get favorable calls last 2 games.

I'm guessing LAL Vs. Bos=Huge Ratings.

Tony is certainly quick enough and can defend the jumper well enough to do work on Kobe.  I have all the confidence in his defense after his work on Wade, and then Lebron.

Exactly!

If we could survive the Lebron and Wade Storm, then (No Offense, Kobe ;D) we can survive Kobe.

Kobe is simply not the same player he has been. And he knows it. He is banged up and older. Still a Very Elite player, though.

I had tremendous concerns about Lebron before we beat them. A concerted team effort VS Kobe should bring us success against LA should we meet.

But first we have our hands full with ORL. They certainly won't go quietly.

TA just needs to stay down on the customary assortment and variety of Kobe shot fakes.

Well duh, aren't we hoping for a rematch as well?

I don't think I'd go out of my way to watch an Orlando/LA Finals.

Shouldn't they be rooting for a rematch against the team they can actually beat?

That's the thing - at least according to some of their bloggers they actually see The Boston Celtics as the Lesser Threat.

They actually think LA won't have a problem with Boston. One Blogger even gave us only One win against ORL, lol......

Right now, I think they are more focused on the regular season Celtics than the Post Season Celtics.

I Love It.

Hate this blurb from the writer.  >:(

Caking Red Auerbach in even more of Phil Jackson's dust would be sweet, but even if Phil never wins another title, neither will Auerbach. Pole position remains permanently established in PJ's favor.

I'll hand it to the Lakers fans for wanting to play us again.  We all know we want to play the Lakers regardless of them being one of the best teams.

They could be rooting for an easy championship against ORL but they want us.  Kudos to them.
