If you win by 32 or win by 2, you still win.

Great teams, championship teams, this team gets the win, forgets the score and what happened but learns from their miscues and from what they did right, puts it behind then and goes out and plays the next game like the game before never happened.

Celtics won. They played great basketball against the team playing the best basketball in the NBA over the last 2 months and came away with a win.

I could care less whether Orlando closed the gap.

Celtics 92 Orlando 88 C's lead series 1-0 and have yet to play a home game.

Nuff said for me.

GO CELTICS!

Btw, I think we have the Magic´s number. This series should be a lot easier than the last round.

I TOTALLY disagree that this is going to be easier than Cleveland. Orlando has more weapons that can hurt us in this series, they're not a one-man show. I see more close games.

Hmm, you´re right, maybe I was a bit rash there. That´s probably the better attitude (for the team and my heart)
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

do people realize that this team came out of a brutal series just 2 days ago....refocused...went on the road...and dominated a team that has only lost 4 times since Feb. and really boston didn't near the level they can

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Sheed needs to take the majority of Perkins minutes next game. He played so much better than Perkins that it isn't even funny.
Sheed doesn't have the stamina to do that.

I was happy with both players for the most part.

Agreed.  Perk's contributions didn't really show up on the stat sheet.  He made some dumb decisions, but he also dominated Howard on defense.

It was ugly towards the end, but we got the win anyway. That 4th quarter mini collapse should teach the C's a lesson. It's a 48 minute game and they can't take the Magic for granted. Game 2 should be a lot more competitive, and the Celtics should be ready for Orlando's counter punch.

Give the Magic some credit. They are a great team that played great basketball in the 4th and used their crowd to get them motivated and back in the game.

Perk has been odd on offense, but he did a great job on D...most guys foul out on him....he killed Atlanta you know....so, if perk can keep him down...i can live with his other mistakes..and maybe he can get to dunking again...soon..!

i am encouraged boston won despite only 8 points from KG and 8 from rondo. the defense on lewis was awesome. some good signs seeing PP being able to score at will as well as Ray.

need to improve and limit orlando to 1 shot on offense...like to see more rondo to the basket...keep taking away the 3 point shot...and keep the pedal on the gas for 48 minutes

KG went 4/14 and I thought he missed a bunch of looks that he generally hits.

As long as the D continues to run their 3 pt shooters off of the 3 pt line(especially KG on Rashard), I don't see where they will get the points.

Rondo wasn't great on D at the end of the game. That's what you run the risk of when you play him the entire game practically.

Great orlando crowd, btw. I think they played a good sized role in the comeback and our drought.

  • A Celtic Fan
Had to share this with you, it's a comment I made on SexyScottish's Facebook, responding to a Cavs fan:

FYI, I did not hop on any bandwagon. I have been a Celtics fan since 1988. I just heard that LeBronze will probably end up in Miami or Chicago so you need to get yourself a new jersey soon.

Need I say he didn't reply?  ;)

Talk soon, y'all! Goodnight.
