This game reminds me of Game 2 of the Finals in 2007-2008

TP.

That's a great comparison.

Sheed needs to take the majority of Perkins minutes next game. He played so much better than Perkins that it isn't even funny.

how quickly you forget.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Made us sweat it out, but they all count the same...1-0, baby!  And with subpar games from Perk, Rondo, and KG, no less.

Gotta go for Game 2, too, can't have the "we've locked up the split" mentality.  Luckily, I don't see this bunch having a problem adopting the right mindset.

It’s past  midnight here, a late night for me (past my bed time)…but a win is a win, so it was worth it.  Glad to share the experience with you guys.  Here’s to game 2...

Ugly game or good defense? I´d say it was both. Anyway, I´ll take it.

Btw, I think we have the Magic´s number. This series should be a lot easier than the last round.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Sheed doesn't have the stamina to do that.

I was happy with both players for the most part.

I'm excited, I do think Rashard will be better moving forward and Pietris will be a factor, but to take game 1 after only 2 days rest on the Orlando home court, huge huge win! whoo!

I TOTALLY disagree that this is going to be easier than Cleveland. Orlando has more weapons that can hurt us in this series, they're not a one-man show. I see more close games.

Was I disappointed we didn't blow them out?  Yes.  Was I cursing at the TV the last 6 minutes?  Yes.  However, let's not forget that we're in the ECF and to win any game is an accomplishment, particularly on the road.

We've played the Magic five times this year, and all five have been close games.

I think we can expect more of the same for the remaining games this series.

I'm happy with the win too. But we gotta get that killer instinct back; smell blood in the water? ATTACK. Lol.

Lol @ Doc who just acknowledged that "Sheed threw up the season... but he is terrific for us right now". ;D

Great win (I never get tired of saying that). I am very confident in this team. Gotta get to bed now though. It's past 12:30 am here and I'm old like Ray  ;D

Enjoy the rest of the day, fellas and fellarettes.

Go Celtics!
