I think with my last 2 picks I have chosen ideal role players.  When thinking about this exercise, there are clearly more then enough great players to stack every teams roster.

However in assembling my team I am really looking at roles, and how teams fit.

Clearly D-Wade is the alpha male on the team.  I envision leaning on him for a lot of scoring, and probably will run a ton of P&R's with Amare.  Grant Hill will provide excellent wing Defense, a reliable mid range game, and a great 3rd option offensively.
With Ben Wallace I have a terrific defensive presence who will take the toughest big man assignment from the other team.
Mark Jackson can post just about every other PG, hit open 3's and really dictate tempo in the half court.

I like my role players in Redd and Robinson to give me some outside shooting. Clearly I need another physical big. A reliable backup PG.

However I just hope chemistry, and roles are considered.  As many of the Team USA squads proved, putting the best players together doesnt necessarily equal the best team

My top four in each conference:

East

1. Milwaukee
2. Charlotte
3. Philadelphia
4. Indiana

West

1. Golden State
2. Utah
3. San Antonio
4. New Orleans (but they desperately need a real center)

There's a lot of room for movement in my rankings, although Milwaukee, Golden State, and Utah seem like they've got a solid lock on the top three right now.

WARNING

Before this endeavor goes any farther I just want to say that personal messages to Panelists soliciting votes during this game is strictly prohibited. I am not saying that this has or has not occurred only that it will not be tolerated.

The Panelists volunteered their time to objectively judge this draft AFTER it has been completed and to provide commentary during the game. Please respect their privacy and keep all questions of them public in one of the three threads provide to discuss the draft.

Each owner will be given a chance to present their team and to field questions from the Panelists, if they have any of you, prior to voting for Draft Awards. The Panelists will present their votes to me and I will then, for transparency's sake, PM back the results for the awards with how each Panelist voted to all the Panelists before announcing the Award results.

So please, let's keep this fun and respect the opinions and privacy of the Panelists.

Thank You

Joe Johnson is missing from Portland and Rodman is a PF not a SF.

I am inclined to wait another day (two rounds) before saying too specific about any of these teams.

By the end of tomorrow, most teams will have their top nine players in place (or close to it) which will give them a good indication of what their first choice rotation will look like.
