They will both be fine.

If I listed the amount of light ankle sprains and bumped knees I have endured in my years of playing b-ball, I'd probably have 20 pages.

Now all we need is a Clever CAVS fan to make up a Tickle me Garnett and Perkins....... ;D

KG and ankle I am fine with. It looked like an ankle when he did it. Come on Blakely! When KG hyperextended his knee earlier this season he didnt look right for months. Dont scare us!

Im very worried about Perk though. Without his 1 on 1 coverage of Shaq, the Diesel will actually impact this series if we have to double him.

Davis has done a decent job on him overall, and Sheed is very good against him.

We're covered.

Sorry GreatAmericanStyleLagerCeltic but I disagree. You are losing Perk's overall defensive game including defensive rebounding against Clevelands size. Those 2 would get eaten up if put on an island against Shaq. I also dont think the version of Sheed that we are stuck with can match up against even an ancient Shaq. He can certainly foul him, but I see Sheed get beaten for 3 point plays by not fouling hard enough at least once a game.

Lets just say Ill be very uneasy until I see Perk in action Friday playing the kind of defense he has been playing throughout these playoffs.

Ankle yes, but hyperextended knee scares me a little bit. They were specific in saying hyperextension and that can be limiting dont you think?

Im just extremely worried about game 3 and I was under the impression that we would be at full strength up until an hour ago.

Hey, at the end of the day, they don't want those injuries to be excuses.

I'm sure it won't even be mentioned. :-\

It appears to be nothing more than late in the season nagging injuries.  Just like 100% of the other player in the NBA including LJ are dealing with.

Suddenly this relatively big rest between games looks very in place.

Both are tough warriors and both will play.

Doc Rivers and company talk about the injuries to KG and Perk and get prepared to host the Cavs at the Garden for Game 3.

the last few seconds with Sheed trying to avoid the questions is priceless. Looks like KG got to him.
