He banged knees with Perk but that's all I remember.

No idea if this is the case, but if I were Doc, I would have KG resting before game 3 anyways.

dang it man

this is crucial

SMH

edit: i dont see how we could come out with a win w/ out kg and perk, thats basically the backbone of our defense. if they miss game 3 you can mark a L for game 3.

Not the news you want to hear...but they don't sound serious since their both listed as probable.

I hope this doesn't lead to "Knee Gate 2010."

I don't think it's gamemanship. At least, it has been confirmed by other Celtics reporters, and apparently KG's ankle is hurt, not his knee.

ESPNForsberg :

KG (ankle) and Perk (knee) both sat our today's practice. KG likely not practicing tomorrow, Perk could be back tomorrow.

Celtics :

KG (ankle) and perk (hyperextended knee) both missed today's practice. KG was hurt at end of Game 2, Perk injured at shootaround.

I think it would take a severed limbs to keep Perk and KG from playing. If they are probable they will play. The question is, will the injury effect their play.

If they are playing hurt I would like to see their minutes reduced. Once again we have a need for Sheed.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Perk: "I'll be ready for Friday. We got some rest before Friday. KG wanted to practice today. He was mad. He'll play on Friday."

KG and ankle I am fine with. It looked like an ankle when he did it. Come on Blakely! When KG hyperextended his knee earlier this season he didnt look right for months. Dont scare us!

Im very worried about Perk though. Without his 1 on 1 coverage of Shaq, the Diesel will actually impact this series if we have to double him.

Davis has done a decent job on him overall, and Sheed is very good against him.

We're covered.

Against Shaq, the rest of Cleveland will be able to exploit our help defense.

You need Perk, no one can match his defense.  Sheed and Davis can guard him but they will need help.  Perk can do it alone.

Blakely says both probable for Game 3, Perk says they're both ok...

I think they're both ok.  :)
