I love the way this coach's round is working out. It makes choosing coaches fair. It's a round of the game. It gives owners something to think about and do in the game over the weekend between rounds. Yet it's relaxed without a rush being involved.

BTW, all the choices thus far have been excellent.

As a reminder, please check the front page of this thread for times come Monday:

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=37242.0

REMEMBER

1.) There are two rounds each day

2.) There are only 5 minutes between picks with the exception of between rounds where there is a 20 minute pause

3.) If you can't make it that day provide a very, very complete list to either myself or another owner or a panelist to make your selections for both of your selections that day. Other people do not have the right to make your selection without having a name on a list you provide them.

Thanks for headsup, Nick. I didn't realize the compressed time slots. This actually works out best for me.

I already have a list of about 20 players to still round out my team, and a list of 10 coaches to pick from.

Seems like a legendary version of the present day Orlando
 Magic. Design on purpose?

Like your frontcourt a lot, riah.  A healthy Danny Manning makes it very formidable.

Gotta say, with the exception of just one or two teams, every team's frontcourt is looking pretty dang tough

Bread & butter rounds are coming up.  Gotta fill out the rosters with solid rotation and complementary pieces.  These are my favorite rounds in these drafts.

Utah will take offers on Joe Dumars. We are very happey with Joe being our sixth man but see we could get great value in a trade for him if other teams want to use him to round out their rosters. PM me with offers. All will receive a TP.

The Memphis Grizzlies(GaBerkowitz) have exceeded their allotted time to choose a coach

They may select their coach at any time

The San Antonio Spurs(RebusRankin) may select their coach at any time

Interesting choice.  I think I would have taken somebody with NBA experience.  Coach K is a great coach, but his only experience dealing with superstar egos is with USA Basketball, meaning he's a bit of an unknown.  There are two coaches in particular who I think are still excellent choices, to the point where gambling is unnecessary.

I'm kind of hoping someone takes my first choice, so I can take my second choice.

Of course if both go, there's always my 3rd choice

(sorry if I'm breaking a rule here Nick...if anyone is seriously considering Tark, I apologize for letting the shark out of the bag...although I did actually sort of seriously consider him because with the amount of talent on these teams should petty much coach themselves)
