The Celts played as good as you could have hoped in that half. Just awesome stuff from Rondo, KG, Perk, everyone.

BUT.....

Bogus calls are a concern and LeBron played like garbage. I don't buy the elbow thing for a second--he can turn it on at any second. Can't you see the announcers falling all over themselves to talk about LeBron's "grit" and "will" getting over his "injury"? He's not going to be that bad all series, and the C's need to be ready.
Reggie and Marv can't fawn over the Cavs enough to suit Stern and the national audience.  Sad really.  Seems like whenever the C's make good plays it takes them by surprise and they under play it.  Man I miss Mike and Tommy

Oh please. They've been raving about Rondo and Pierce and Garnett all game.

Not only that, Reggie correctly identified the two really bad calls.

TP. I hate Reggie, just really awkward announcing from him, but am a huge Marv fan.

There isn't a conspiracy from Marv and they have given tons of props to The Celtics when they've deserved it.
agreed on the comments by Reggie on the bad call---give him credit for that.  most announcers wouldn't say that

I don't think we're listening to the same game apparently as I hear them start the 3rd quarter fawning over Bron's score and a muted comment about Garnett scoring

You're right they barely mentioned Rondo.  ::)

Varejao + Hickson played a combined 13 minutes.

If they are only playing around 25mpg ... Boston is the favourite in this series.

If the Celts play the defense they did in the first half, they're favorites regardless.
I missed part of the second quarter -- computer jammed -- but based on the rest of the half, no I don't think so.

I think Varejao + Hickson is the main key to this series.

Even with that Celtics defense, I think big minutes from them wins Cleveland the series.
