We should expect to see zone defenses when TA and rondo are in. I said this when we people talked about playing TA and quis together. The same holds with those two.

That Chalmers offensive foul was bogus.

Tony Allen's 2 FTs
followed by Chalmers' 3 FTs.

Clearly a case of 2 steps forward, 3 steps back...

  • There can only be one.
So...we just went from a 21 point lead to a 6 point lead. Someone pinch me, please.

Come on guys.  12 minutes strong still wins this.

Foul trouble from Ray was a killer. Gotta see who wants to make plays and who wants to dribble around the perimeter, though.  We need Rondo in early, and in attack mode.

just a completely horrible finish to this quarter  :P

I just don't get how a supposedly veteran team with championship experience doesn't understand they need to put away an opponent, especially in the playoffs, when they have them down.  just an indescribable disappointment

Not really. In any event, it wasn't a foul on TA.

No penetration at all, just guys staying beyond the 3 point line and passing the ball to each other before forcing a shot... I hate that. Up 6 only heading in the 4th with Wade on the opposing team and with the way we've been attacking since 5 minutes... I'm worried. We need Rondo badly?

Wow. What a shock.

The regular season Celtics and the playoff Celtics are the same team.

We'll see.  The regular season Celtics would lose this game by 15.

Not necessarily - they'd beat Miami just like they did all year. They won a number of games where they squandered big leads. Just barely, mind you.

My point stands, I think. We're the same team we were all year. Very inconsistent. A couple ticks below championship level. I keep hoping I'll see something to change my mind. Tonight is really just more of the same.

Still think we'll win tonight though...
