Hup Holland Hup!

I told my friends at the start of the game that i would jump in the pool when holland won. ANd after the game i jumped with my clothes on! One crazy game!

Holland deserved it.

And we will see who wins it al.. don't underestimate Holland!
We did not lose for a very long time. And every player knows that we can win it all!

Holland took my mind of the lose in game 7 for the last weeks!
Don't break my hart again!

Keepm on underestimating the Dutch! We are fine with that. And to the guys who think that Germany or Spain are going to steamroll over the Dutch, Forget it!! No matter how well they played earlier in the tournament. The final will be very close!

Go Oranje!!!

Congrats for the Dutch. Although I wanted Uruguay to win, Holland deserved it more. It wasn't a nice match, but Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Kuyt were tremendous. I guess Van der Vaart will get a chance in the final game.

As for Germany vs Spain, I think they have better teams and have played better, but they must battle each other, and the Dutch will be a dangerous team if they score first.

Good luck for all, and Go Celtics!!!

Not sure I agree with the decision not to play Torres ... if they lose, you know that will be the primary excuse.

Yeah, but Torres received enough chances. He just not in a good shape. What I don't like is playing Iniesta on the wing. He's much better in the middle next to Xavi.

I would open with:

-------------Villa-----------
Pedro--------------------Silva
-------Xavi-----Iniesta--------
-------------Alonso------------
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

Interesting fact via the BBC
Quote
Our friends at Infostrada Sports have been successfully mining for gold yet again: On Tuesday, a team who had never won the World Cup knocked out one that had. This hadn't happened in the semifinals since 1958. If we ignore the first couple of World Cups, there has never been a World Cup where two former winners were knocked out by two non-winners at the semifinal stage. This is what needs to happen for Spain to make it into the final.

Agreed -- not a fan of Busquets. It's a bad decision to play him and Xabi Alonso together in midfield.

I think the extra man in midfield (instead of Torres) will be useful against this German team.

Yeah, I don't get that either ... we'll see how it plays out, but that is definitely not his strongest position. Obviously a match-up decision.

Great patience by Spain in the early going ... patient, yet they're also the clear aggressor.

That could have been a penalty, clearly caught him.

Could have been and should have been ... lousy no-call. This has been a yawner, but for the extra minute.
