What a heart breaker for Ghana!  Gotta feel for Gyan.

Another choke by Uruguay! Amazing!

Another choke by Ghana! Amazing!

Wanna watch the mocking stuff there, MD. Great win by Uruguay, and an incredibly exciting game. Africa now mourns, and Gyan becomes the bad guy for a big continent.

Ghana was one penalty kick away from becoming the first African nation to play in world cup semi final. Hope they won't be too harsh on Gyan. He'll be punishing himself enough.

Oh sorry about that Bahku I didn't mean to mock.  I was just repeating what you said and putting Ghana in place of Uruguay because they did choke.

Just more proof of how things can be misunderstood through typing.

Sorry if you thought I was mocking you Bahku.  Didn't mean for it to come across that way at all.

No problem, Bud ... yeah, the internet is the ultimate tool for misunderstanding ... been on both ends of that one. Glad we're cool, my friend, and thanks for clearing it up. (TP)

TP back at ya really didn't mean for it to look like I was mocking you.  Gotta feel for Ghana the worst way I've ever seen a team to lose in soccer ever.

Imagine if Ghana had Essien, how good would they have been then.

I'm worried for Gyan ... this kind of pressure can ruin a life, and similar situations have ended up in tragedy ... hope it doesn't go that way.

Just an unbelievable finish to the game.  I can't help but feel bad for Ghana, it was theirs for the taking.

Lets hope nothing bad happens to Gyan.  Guy still has a real bright future in front of him and I hope he can get redemption and make up for this.

Plus they have an excellent youth intake. Ghana won an under 20 world cup. Next time they will be even stronger.

Yup ... this isn't the last we've heard of Ghana ... they should go deep in 2014, too, but it would've been so much sweeter for them being from the host continent.

Even with Ghana knocking out the US the last two cups, Ghana will be the team I'm going for after the US.  And normally I don't go for a second team.
