Holland won this game psychologically. It wasn't tactical. Holland baited Brazil the whole match flopping every chance they got. Game had no rhythm. Brazil took the bait and lost control of the match. Brazil should've played with more discipline. Instead emotions got the best of them.

Payback is a ..... !  :P

Congrats to Holland! Like I predicted before the WC, this Brazil team is not good enough to take it all. And Brazil fans can 'thank' Dunga for that.

I like Dunga's style of play and not wanting to play fancy  and do everything the fancy way.  I hate how Brazil does that.  The players didn't buy into Dunga's plan enough and it cost them.
His current system is fine. The problem is that because of  his team selection before the WC, his plan B was limited. When he needed to make attacking changes today his option were: Nilmar, Baptista and Grafite.
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

I didn't know that.  I thought you were blaming his system like most people do because it's not the beautiful way, which is stupid to me how people say that.

Holland have a big chance now to reach their first final since doing it back to back in 74 and 78. Even the big team of late 80's, early 90's with van Basten, Gullit, Rijkaard and Koeman that won euro88, couldn't do it.

They're going to the finals.  I'd be more shocked if Ghana or Uruguay beats the Netherlands than the Netherlands beating Brazil.

Yeah, I think so too, although Holland has a tendency to choke sometimes in big games.

On the other side of the draw will be very interestibg. Spain vs the winner of Germany - Argentina clash.

Yeah, blame Dunga for this one. Not that Holland isn't a great team.

But Dunga's insistence on Felipe Melo (who has played awful and always on the verge of a send off) and his stubbornness in picking a team did him in.

Brazil desperately needed creative offensive player today, but there was no one there to replace Elano in what he did or to help in a situation where they trailed.

Meanwhile, Ronaldinho Gaucho, Ganso, Alex, Pato were all watching from home...

Nice strike by Muntari. Muslera didn't see the ball till it was too late.

Nice struke by Muntari. Muslera didn't see the ball till it was too late.

That was a heckuva powerful strike, from very far out ... Muslera had already started right, and just had no time to get back to the left in time. Should be a great second.

What a beautiful bending strike from outside the box ... had a feeling Uruguay would score early in the second here.

Uruguay getting away with some offsides and what could have been a couple of fouls in the box ... letting them "play", I guess, which is fine if it's called at both ends.
