USA are in trouble. They are running out of time. Need a goal.
Judging just from the highlights of missed shots they've had their chances.

Two disallowed goals will leave the entire US p---ed off if this result holds.

Nice quick attack from the US to create that Donovan goal

It's great to see them go through along with England.

WHAT A GAME!!!! USA perseveres. They dominated the game, had another goal disallowed and yet in extra time wins it!!!

Very entertaining game.

US finished first in the group which probably will help them not to meet Germany in the next round.

England got a good result today but their performance was underwhelming. Some good signs and improvements but still a lot of negatives and uneven play.

I think the success of today's team selection could come back to haunt them at a later stage in the tournament. It is a flawed first eleven that makes them overly vulnerable.

Germany needs to win big to make sure that happens.  I do not want Germany in the first round of the knockout stage.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

They have a better goal difference by 3 over Serbia. Simple win tonight vs Ghana will be enough for the first place.

Hey I've been looking in on US Soccer matches and they are getting the Joey Crawford treatment. 2 of their golas were disallowed with no good explanation (Feux Pas de Justice as described by the ESPN soccer analyst).

Thank God favorite son Landon Donovan knocked in the gamer against Algeria at 91 minutes to send us to the Sweet 16.

I'm in Soccer Country up here in the upper left hand corner of the US and all the Pubs were going full bore with rabid Soccer fans.

This is good medicine to counter the pain of the NBA Playoffs.

Although if the US waits until the last minute to do their heriocs, they will have to carry me out in a body bag.

Love that head first belly flop celebration by Landon Donovan, kinda reminded me of Bobby Orr.

Looks like I found a new hobby up here - Soccer Baby Soccer.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Australia is not very good.  Quite possible Serbia puts a beating on them.

Possible but not likely. Serbian attack isn't that good and Austarila was pretty decent vs Ghana. Two goals wil be enough.
