I think it's highly likely. The NBA big wigs don't take too kindly to elbows.

I'll say no, since he was ejected from the game.

He shouldn't be, and I don't think he will.  He wasn't trying to hurt somebody with his elbow, and I think the replay shows that clearly.  He was trying to free up his arm from somebody that was holding it back.

Honestly, if KG gets suspended why not Haslem, who basically thrashed Glen Davis, igniting the fight?

I will say yes, he gets a game 2 suspension. And he deserves it by the rulebook... I mean, there is the Dwight Howard's example and also, if the slap Alston made to Eddie last year is worthy of a suspension, KG's elbow clearly deserves an ejection + a suspension.

I don't really think he was "throwing an elbow." From what I could see, he was trying to rip free from someone's hold. Hardly as malicious as Dwight's was.

But that's the problem--it could be interpreted either way.

It's hard to say.  They certainly have grounds to suspend him with the video evidence of the elbow, but the circumstances of incident, when KG was surrounded by Heat players grabbing and pushing at him, might prompt the league to take the high road on this case and then crack down hard on any further rowdiness in the series.

A two game suspension? I don't know about that. If he does get suspended I doubt it's more than one game and shouldn't be more than that.

I meant he will be suspended for game 2, not for two games, my bad!

Shouldn't be, if the NBA looks at the circumstances.

KG is talking about this in the press conference now....apparently Q'Rich stood over PP and started mouthing off....if its true...then KG did the right thing...you don't talk crap standing over an injured player.

A ref should have gone over there and cleared room for Pierce.  One was standing right there with the ball and did nothing.

Wondering if that may save a suspension because the whole scene could likely have been avoided with a little more pro active reaction by the refs.
