glad to see that Sheed was nowhere to be found in the 4th qtr

Yep.

This is ridiculous--it was a big win, there's no need to scapegoat the guy for anything. Sheed actually played very well. Miami went small and BBD went off, that was the only reason.
Agreed -- Sheed wasn't a problem tonight.  He played with some effort.

Ray, Perk and 1st half BBD were the downsides of the game

rethinking the KG elbow...afraid he is going to sit game 2....they suspended howard last year for an in game elbow. this might be considered worse

is there really THAT much difference in Ray's defense and TA's defense?....Ray tries really hard, but Wade goes through him like a hot knife through butter----Wade looked scared of TA.

Wow, Donny Marshall is actually saying something worthwhile in the postgame.

calls out the refs for not protecting PP while he was on the floor and taking Ray to task for not giving anything tonight.  that's a first

Best part about this game was the emergence of some championship level defense by the C's.  Mediocre teams can't handle that and that's what the Heat are.

The big question now is whether the C's can play this level of D consistently through the playoffs.  If they can, then it's going to be interesting from here on out.

that's my point. Sheed only played 14 min and BBD played 24. Sheed should have been benched along time ago, his minutes need to go elsewhere,  I think he should be playing even less, 10 min a game for that bum---BBD showed the guts & heart it takes to win along with TA, sheed cant be a problem if he plays limited minutes

Tirico was unprofessional in my mind as he was openly lobbying for a KG suspension. Of course, he can't do basic math so what do you expect. Tirico 75 from 81 is 6 not 5. Its called subtraction we teach it in grade one you jackass.

He was claiming a ref got pushed. Besides Q-Rich pushing Pierce into one, I saw nothing like that. I did see, J. O'Neal push about 5 people into Paul Pierce while he was on the ground. The same dirty thug that was a major part of the Malice in the Palace.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Dunno about Sheed, he's still slapping at the ball as it goes through and not moving his feet, 1 rebound in 13 min. But at least he didnt force a ton of 3s. Perk definitely earned some pine.
