They just enforced the rules...might save us KG for 48 minutes of game 2.

annoying that QRich could get that reaction out of KG.

Big Baby with another key rebound. Now make the clutch FTs please.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I don't blame the refs for the techs--they really couldn't have done anything else. The illegal screen call on KG before, however, was a huge momentum swing.

I guess a foul could have been called on the bump that Pierce took, but the refs have been letting them play so that's no big surprise.

Tony Allen, MVP!!!!!!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

jeez, its the nba playoffs. a little shoving, a few elbows on both sides. all fine with me. let them have it out on the floor. i hate the over policing of the nba. for ALL teams.

An intentional elbow above the shoulders is a mandatory ejection in the current rulebook.  Technically, he wasn't thrown out on those grounds, but it should save him from a suspension.
But it's our team so rules don't apply!!!! I was glad he got thrown out because now I don't "think" anything more will come.

which is the exact opposite of what i said. as i wrote: "i hate the over policing of the nba. for ALL teams."

This is beautiful. These refs just riled up the entire city of Boston. They're not going to get to Logan. Good luck in game two, asshats.

Suck it Richardson, O'Neal...

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Hat tip to the second half defense.

Glad to see we still have the type of D in us.
