Dragic opened a lot of eyes tonight ... and most likely increased his value for the future. What an awesome guy to have coming off the bench for Stevie ... and most likely his replacement when Nash retires.
He had a really good year, front-to-back. Very capable player who made a nice leap this year.
Very happy for the Suns. They look like they're finally gonna slay the S.A. dragon.
Now let's hope they slay the Dragon that matters - the purple and gold one.
will Lopez be back for the next series? dont think they got a chance Amare and frye cant stop Odom Bynum and Gasol
Lopez may be back by then. I wouldn't count the Suns out. The way they're playing, if they play a relatively up-tempo game they can't be beaten. The Lakers will have to slow them down.
I think Gasol and Amare basically can't cover each other, so it's a wash. Frye can't cover Bynum but Bynum can't cover the perimeter, so that's unclear as well. Bynum isn't really healthy at the moment, either.
Artest doesn't provide the Lakers much because Grant Hill isn't a great offensive player anyway. Kobe won't be able to post up J-Rich as easily as most SG's. Nash should give Fisher some trouble, to say the least.
The Suns' bench is also light years better than the Lakers' bench.
