Dragic opened a lot of eyes tonight ... and most likely increased his value for the future. What an awesome guy to have coming off the bench for Stevie ... and most likely his replacement when Nash retires.

He had a really good year, front-to-back. Very capable player who made a nice leap this year.

Very happy for the Suns. They look like they're finally gonna slay the S.A. dragon.

Lopez may be back by then.  I wouldn't count the Suns out.  The way they're playing, if they play a relatively up-tempo game they can't be beaten.  The Lakers will have to slow them down.

I think Gasol and Amare basically can't cover each other, so it's a wash.  Frye can't cover Bynum but Bynum can't cover the perimeter, so that's unclear as well.  Bynum isn't really healthy at the moment, either.

Artest doesn't provide the Lakers much because Grant Hill isn't a great offensive player anyway.  Kobe won't be able to post up J-Rich as easily as most SG's.  Nash should give Fisher some trouble, to say the least.

The Suns' bench is also light years better than the Lakers' bench.

Andrew Bynum has caused Amare Stoudemire huge problems for three years running. Stoudemire can't handle Bynum's length ... plays tentatively and poorly against Bynum.

Lamar Odom is the equalizer for perimeter orientated bigs + is always an upgrade over whoever the other team has because of his very good defense/rebounding which normally the other can't reproduce.

The Lakers also defend Steve Nash very well and have a specific game plan geared towards stopping him.

Hmm. I guess we'll see.  I just don't think this is the same Suns team of yesteryear.  Not exactly the same Lakers team, either, though becoming more and more like the Lakers of the last couple of years as the playoffs go on (and Kobe gets healthier).

I would love to see the Suns take on the Lakers ... I think they've got as good a chance as they have had in the last decade or so, though LA does seem to have Nash's number. Sadly, the only team that the gold/purple didn't beat this year was Cleveland, ( they were also 1/2 against Portland, and 1/3 against the Nuggets), but I don't want to see that match-up for obvious reasons.

Great game 3 between the Jazz and Lakers last night. Seems like the fans enjoyed it too.

Amundson has to know how incredibly stupid he looks with that ponytail ... maybe he does it to distract his opponents with extra ugly.  ???

Wow ... the Spurs just do not want to go any further. Really luke-warm performance by a great team ... thought they'd put up more of a fight than this.  :P (Hate to say it, but it's typical Spurs behavior).
