Do either of these teams know how to play defense or go after an offensive rebound?

On some of these Laker shots, after the ball caroms off the rim and before it has landed in a Suns' player's hands, the entire Laker team is across half court setting up on defense. And the Suns haven't a clue as to how to play interior defense, it's silly how different the styles are from the Eastern Conference's two teams.

It's like it's the early 80's all over again.

Lakers are too big.
Suns shoot too many jumpers.
Suns are unwilling to make any hard fouls on Laker drives to the basket.

I don't think i'm gonna watch much more of this.

Phoenix has to try to go on a run in the last 2 minutes without the Laker bigs.

yeah, there's really no comparison.

the funny thing is, the commentators always watch the eastern conference games and say they're sloppy, it's bad basketball...but actually there's just a lot more defense being played.  these western teams play nice looking basketball but it's not very physical and it's much more offensively oriented.  then they face a tough eastern team and they don't look so smooth anymore

Just a 7 point lead and Nash really hasn't gotten to work yet. Phoenix should feel good about their current position given the pitiful defense they played.

It's only 7, but feels like 20. Suns need to step up.

Craig Sager is lucky he's isn't interviewing KG with that outfit.

Ernie needs a sub in the halftime show. He has no voice.

I dunno what the TNT crew are talking about.

The Lakers are shooting 61% from the field....they don't need anymore help then they are getting.

The Suns should not be feeling good or "encouraged". The Suns are on pace to score 110 points but won't win.

Who wants to bet that Hollinger makes a point tomorrow of the Lakers having fresh legs?

Phoenix needs to switch assignments on Kobe from time to time, and give Hill a breather.

This game is not being fairly refereed. Kobe has received about 5 really questionable calls and I'm counting the Lakers with an advantage of 10 in the favorable calls department.

Phoenix should sit Nash for a bit and put Barbosa at the point for a while to use his speed against Fisher.
