This guy Devlin is like fingernails on a chalkboard. The entire broadcast is rather substandard for TNT's usual telecasts. That whole bit to start the game where McHale talked through some cheesy stats and graphics was not good at all. Add Devlin's squeaky excited voice and hesitations like he doesn't know which pre-rehearsed and written down line to use to describe an exciting moment is horrible.

Makes me wish I was listening to Mark Jackson the whole night. **Shudders**

Yeah, LOL! I love McHale ... I think he's a great guy and would be fun to hang with, but he talks more than Donny Marshall, and that's saying something! And Devlin ... it's like listening to a potato grow. ;)

Somebody has to get Ryan Anderson out of Orlando. He deserves to be a starter somewhere.

Orlando are playing so well. Pulling apart Atlanta.

Also, who is Dwight's free throw coach?
His action just seems so unnatural even for a big man...

Yeah ... love that kid, and his potential is not close to being realized. He's got a great future if someone will take a chance on him as a starter.

Ryan Anderson has been a better offensive player than Rashard Lewis this season.

More aggressive in looking for his shot + cuts to the rim more often for easy layups + posts up smaller defenders.

I like the idea of Houston trading their late lottery pick (#14) to Orlando for Ryan Anderson.

Ryan Anderson and Yao Ming would be a very difficult combination to play against. Especially with Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks in the backcourt and either Ariza/Battier/Budinger at the three. Then re-sign Luis Scola to be their main big off the bench. I like that big man combination.

That would be a very potent rotation for Houston ... disregarding injury, they're only one (Ryan Anderson-type) or two players from being an elite team.

You should have heard him do the 2009-10 Raptors games and feign excitement for that group of deadbeats. Punishing.

OMG Hawks are getting KILLED in Orlando. I knew they'd be steamrolled this series but this 44 point beatdown is just unbelievably cruel. Even the Bobcats gave some resistance. I don't even like the Hawks and I'm feeling sorry for them.  Looking like they'll might get swept in the 2nd round the second year in a row

The question is are the Magic really this good or are they just playing teams that can't match up with them at all?  I'm inclined to go with the latter.  After all, the Cavs steamrolled their way to the ECF last year and look where that got them.

Playoff series are all about matchups.  The reason the Celtics can give the Cavs such a hard time is because they match up well with them.  The reason the Jazz can't beat the Lakers is because they can't match up with the Lakers hardly at all.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

The Magic aren't that good, the Hawks just had a horrible game ... every team has one or two of those each year, they just picked a terrible time to have it. Orlando has one of their best games, Atlanta has one of their worst on the same night ... result: Blowout!

May the force be with the Hawks tonight. I hope they are are ready for this one. Mike Woodson needs to get it together. His strategy for Game 1 was obviously a hot mess. I don't know how he came up with the idea of bringing Collins off the bench first just to use up fouls for Horford (who only had 1 foul the whole game) and wait for Gortat to come in before subbing Pachulia. Sometimes I don't know who is more clueless him or Mike Brown.

Howard just getting ridiculous calls tonight. Not to undermine his current performance, he's playing out of his skin tonight, but those calls on Collins are so clearly offensive fouls on Howard.
