Now that its crunch see if Utah keeps going at the basket, or shying away like us last night.  :-\

Kobe Bryant can't be helping off the ball that aggressively.

If he continues to leave CJ Miles that wide open from three ... Miles will punish him.

Ugh, Utah has a chance down only 1 point with 50 seconds left, and they choke.  Can't get the rebound, can't defend a layup, can't pass it in.  Meh.

The Jazz are way undersized without Okur and Kirilenko and they have terrible defenders at the wings.  This series should be over quickly if the Lakers play smart.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls
PG: Chauncey Billups
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Pau Gasol
C: Yao Ming
Bench: Al Horford, Danny Granger

I didn't watch the game, but from the box score / play by play it looks to me like the Jazz had a real shot at winning this one they just couldn't close it out in the last couple of minutes.

Sounds familiar....

Boozer blew it by not going to Odom's body to box him out off of the Kobe miss. Miles also missed a nice look from 3 that rimmed out. I fear this was their chance to steal one in LA.

They screwed up a few plays that you can't afford to on the road against a good team. A 3 on 1 fast break that Fisher disrupted and a Millsap layup with no one really close.

Well I guess we can hope that like the Celtics they use this game as a learning opportunity and come back even harder in the next one.

The Lakers bigs asserted themselves at the end of the game and Kobe got whatever he wanted against the Jazz wings.

Then I suppose they have to hope AK47 comes back and Sloan should have D-Will defend Kobe.  Looks like Millsap and Boozer had good games, though.  Bynum didn't exactly dominate stat-wise.

The Jazz didn't win tonight but this game by no means suggests they don't have a chance in the rest of them.  I feel the same way about this one as I did about the Celtics' game last night.

What's annoying is that I feel we could take the Lakers right now. I think the 3 best teams are in the East.

Eh, I think the Spurs look like the 3rd best team right now followed by the Lakers.  But the Suns, Jazz, and Celtics are all close behind the top 4 teams, I think.

I got the Lakers in top spot, Cavs second, Magic third and Spurs a distant fourth.

Celtics lead the second group of teams closely followed by the Utah Jazz. Another large drop off, then the Hawks, then the Suns.

Is anyone else super-excited for tomorrow's double-header? Not only do we get the C's but Spurs-Suns game one. I can hardly wait.

I am. I'm planning to watch the double header in reverse since I can't watch C's live sadly but I should be able to catch most of the Spurs game. I really like the old school feel postseason the Spurs are having first the Mavs then the Suns and most likely the Lakers. Hopefully they'll manage to make it out of the West just like old times.

How do you watch in reverse without seeing the C's score? Usually they'll talk about it. I've never found a way around that one.
