Excellent job by the Jazz to win this series without Kirilenko.

Now, as their reward, they can be eliminated from the playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers for the third consecutive year.

Come on NBA. Williams hurts his arm on a meaningless play at the end of the game?? Enough with the cruelty. I want LA gone.

Now, as their reward, they can pull off one of the great upsets and beat the Lakers in seven. ;)

Well, I hate to see OKC go, but their loss is potentially our gain.

We get through CLE (Somehow, Someway..) and this just increases the likelyhood of maybe the last LA VS Boston Finals for next few years.

I will Never forget 2007-2008, but I certainly hope to relive it again!

Get it done, Kobe and Paul! Make it so!

I don't know why people are sleeping so much on the Jazz.  The Lakers aren't the same team they were the last few years.  The Jazz aren't, either.  Both teams have many of the same players, but they're playing on different levels.

I think the Jazz have a real solid chance in this series, especially if AK47 can play.  If they put him at the 4 and start Boozer at C that could give them some interesting matchups.

I expect Deron Williams to bend Derek Fisher over on a nightly basis; I also expect Boozer to push around Pau Gasol.

Utah matchup horribly with the Lakers
  • Their big men are too slow and defensive deficient to check Andrew Bynum or Pau Gasol + Carlos Boozer is too slow to defend Lamar Odom's quickness.
  • Utah has one/two solid but unexceptional wing defenders (AK + Wes) and two poor defenders (Miles + Korver) + inadequate team defense from their big men ... to cover Kobe Bryant.
All of LA's best players have money matchups against Utah. The only flaw LA has shown this season are on the offensive end and those flaws aren't an issue given the matchups in this series ... That is why Utah won't win this series.

Utah's offense will be very effective (Deron + shooters on wings + quality big play) but it won't be enough to counteract their lack of defensive ability.

Hrm, I'm just not so ready to give it all to the Lakers.  They didn't look that great in the first round, and the Jazz looked very good, despite missing their best defender (AK47) and one of their better shooters (Okur).  Actually, they may be better defensively inside with Millsap playing more minutes and Fesenko starting at C.

I think the Deron Williams mismatch at PG is at least as important as the Boozer mismatch with Gasol.  Bynum isn't a big enough factor to win the series, in my opinion.

Looks like it is going to be a Hawks Vs. Magic semi-final.

I may sound crazy, but I'm going to say Hawks in 7.

Well, this game 7 never seemed to be in doubt.

Hawks will take Orlando to a game 5 at least. ATL is a good home team and there will probably be a game where the Magic have a poor shooting game in the Phillips Arena. Curious how Horford will fare vs. Howard. He is a strong position defender, but Dwight will see over him.

the hawks might get one in the ATL..but orlando is going to bring it...if the hawks are going to steal a game..it has to be game one....magic will be rusty

I say they all win out at home until game 7 when Hawks shock and take it.
