Four of my binkies not used yet in this series, (3rd and 4th matchups) ... it's pretty fascinating how these playoffs progress, and what each mathcup generates in terms of odds/percentages. I dunno, but I personally find these pick-a-player playoffs a lot of fun. Too bad there wasn't a way to have some kind of season-long game that featured week-long individual matchups somehow.

(Dating myself with that pic of Artie Johnson ... Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, '68-'73, back when I had a crush on Goldie Hawn, in her bikini and body-paint). ;)
I actually brainstormed the season long matchup idea, but I think it would lose the casual player...the format I came up with would be fun, but involved.
Yup

OKC fought back, only down 2 pts. after three...I may get a chance to fight another day?  Hope springs eternal, etc., etc., etc.  Meanwhile, Conley still down a couple points from his average... but so is Sefolosha.

Even when OKC gets a fast-break, they still take three-pointers ... I don't get it. When will teams realize that you can not win that way?!? Durant had a couple of great drives to the paint and then kicked it out to somebody else for more ugly threes ... not smart basketball that the Thunder is playing.

Wow ... they finally start attacking the hoop and then stop playing defense at the other end ... this is a shame, cuz OKC should be able to take this to seven.

So close.. OKC almost stole the game.

TB, it was really great playing with you. Just a bit of luck and it could have gone your way. Congrats on a very nice rookie season  ;)

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2012-2013 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick or a DNP will result in a zero score, or five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **

I thought all along my matchup for Parker would have to be Curry but he has me worried so I'm going to go with Jarrett Jack: 12.9.

I might not be able to post for hours because of all the pain I have from being so spanked by Bakhu.
