Um, GF never got back to me with picks, so Redz will get the win for today, as he did send me conditional picks for both teams. Still waiting on GF to pick his team, I sent him a PM 1AM this morning ... he must have gone somewhere for the weekend as he hasn't signed on since yesterday afternoon.

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2012-2013 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick or a DNP will result in a zero score, or five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **

Hmmmm, I think I would have done better if I had gone away for the weekend without picking!  I had to get my sentimental pick in. I am just an old softy, and softies do not win.  I will reconsider my options.  The Griz is really a defensive unit more than a scoring machine, so this could be tough.   :-\

You got it.

I feel for you, Brotha ... I missed my first pick either last year or the year before, and I was the one doing the results and telling everyone else to get their picks in ... man, talk about feeling foolish! I never did recover from it, and it would've given me the series win ... one of my cerebral vacations. ;)

** OK, the Big Board is finally set, so I'll add the rest of the times as they become available ... all I can find from the NBA is the first three games in each series, (they usually do the first four), but that'll get us going. **

Tony has done well vs the Clippers, just unlucky that he had an off night. I have a hunch this will be a very close series.
