that game was the celtics entire season in a nutshell....at times they looked like title contenders...at times they looked awful.

one thing i did like was when they got down 1 with about 2 minutes to play. they made plays and got the lead back.

lets distinguish which TA that was, that was bad TA

Everyone else had just as many bad plays as he did, it's just that people don't harp on them.

PP killed the offensive flow with his ISO's in the late 3rd/ early 4th.

KG took some BAD shots in the 4th.

Perkin's inability to hold on the the ball and finish in traffic.

Rondo slowed down the pace too much.

Sheed's tech.

looks like the playoff series with the cavs is going to be down right nasty
I love nasty personal rivalries. Just like it used to be in the past.

Hate to see the lead die like that, but if there was one team in the league to pull through in crunch time like that against, it's great that it was the Cavs.  It's not the same old story if we just changed the ending. Mostly thanks to MR. Shuttlesworth.

And there was only one KG shot that I didn't like. All the others were just front rimming.

I think that's the type of Celtic games we're going to see in the playoffs... I'm back to being optimistic.

Finally a game where we were up 3 with under 24 seconds to go and Doc called a foul. Why doesn't he always do that?

I thought about picking Ray in the PAPOUG today and now I'm very angry that I didn't.

Good stuff, now I'm looking for a Sox win and it will be a great day.

1. slowed pace way down in the 4th.
2. the GT on tony was pure BS
3. why was perk in the game on the late FT?
4. PP came back into the game in the 4th and short-armed every shot he threw up. he missed a ton of open looks that allowed the cavs to get out and run
5. sheeds tech. just was dumb

I thought for sure we were going to see a little fisticuffs there for a little bit. Can't say I'd be opposed ;)

OMG i was crazy behind my tv in the last few minutes!

This game almost gave me a heart attack...

And the 3 pointer from Ray Allen in the closing minutes with 1 second left was crazy!

You can't defend that. TA makes mental errors everygame. That was one. Still his positive attributes outweighs whatever he is missing mentally.

Wow. What a game. I was sweating bullets watching this from the game chat.

-Great 3 quarters, HORRIBLE 4th quarter, overall.

-Ray Allen was clutch.

-Lebron is, thank god, was not.

-KG? You were also not. Watching you miss easy shots, ESPECIALLY in the 4th, wasn't fun to watch. But, you made the last two FTs for the C's, and was 9/10 from the stripe overall compared to Lebron's 14/22. I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt you won't miss SO many of those easy shots in the playoffs.

-Rondo and Perk both got double-doubles. Perkins wasn't the absolute best in the 4th either (and he did miss a "clutch" FT), but he's coming along much better than before he sat out due to injury. Rondo....was Rondo. And we needed that.

Oh, and TPs for EVERYONE who posted.

3. why was perk in the game on the late FT?
Because you absolutely have to get the rebound on a missed free throw in that situation. Its better to have your best rebounders out there who's a poor free throw shooter than give the Cavs a better chance at getting an extra possession.

Also, maybe give a little credit to our guys for the trash talking that led to the completely irrational hero shot by Lebron.

The one good thing came from losing the lead is to see Lebron choke. Hope he would dream about Ray tonight :)
