Complain all you want about the call, but it is absolutely inexcusable for Allen to go brain dead - again - and be up there messing with a three that was CLEARLY not going to go in.
This is why Allen cannot be counted upon in clutch situations - he's not smart enough to be on the floor.
He went up for a rebound thinking it was short, didn't touch it, then it didn't go in and he got the rebound.
That's called bad luck, not brain-dead?
Uh, no. You let the ball come off the rim and rebound it. Anything else is just a cheap excuse for a player who makes these kind of idiotic plays time and time again.
NO excuse whatsoever to be up there messing with a shot that has not hit the rim. None.
I know he's the favorite son of this board, but these kinds of rationalizations cannot go unchallenged. It was a dumb basketball play. Period.
