DB's are getting burned, and Rivers has all the time in the world!! Safeties?!?

This is the Pats feeling the loss of Patrick Chung, IMHO.
Celtics fan for life.

Pats, much like the Steelers and Ravens, should feel lucky to have come away with a win when they clearly all should have lost. But, that is a sign of a really good team, winning when you should have lost.

Funny that the five best teams in football are all in the AFC; Pats, Jets, Steelers, Ravens and Colts.

NFC is really thin this year ... and the Pats really dodged a bullet in this one. I think losing Chung early hurt more than it appeared. But hey, a win is a win ... they hung on and did what they needed to, just wish it had been a blowout like it should have been. Losing Moss makes this team easier to defend against, and until we have the deep threat again, (Hernandez, Gronkowski step up, we acquire a tall WR, etc.), the running game has got to be strong so we can mix it up more. We'll see ... but I'll take the win.

Agree with everything you said here big guy. TP. I think Hernandez is going to be a special player for this team eventually.

Back atcha ... I like Hernandez, too, we've just got so many of these young but very talented guys who will make rookie errors. Worthwhile in the long run, cuz I see a ton of potential on this team, we're just going to have to bite the bullet a bit while the youth evolves into experience, and expect a fair share of penalties and mistakes.

I don't agree that the Pats "clearly should have lost".

It's more like the Chargers "clearly should have never been in the game" against the Pats.

Or

The Pats "clearly should have blown out the Chargers" by like 25 or 27 points.

Peterson is so strong and explosive ... we've gotta stop the run today, especially with Favre hobbled. Harvin hurt, too, but I think he'll be back.

Missed tackle and stupid penalty by Guyton ... man, that stuff drives me crazy. Looks like a TD coming for the Vikes, when it could've been a sack!  :P

Pats look lethargic.  Can't stop Peterson.

Not getting anything on first down so far.

Bad signs.

Gotta love Woodhead ... another over-achiever like Welker ... great pick-up by the Pats.
