The Celtics go out every night with the same mindset: To play their best and to win, and they do it one game at a time, approaching that game as one of importance and weight, no matter who it's against. It doesn't vary or change in intensity, (at least in conscious effort) ... anyone who knows or has followed the careers of the Big Three knows this without question, that their intent is to play on the highest level night in and night out. The problem is consistency in execution, and that has been all over the board for this team this year due to many factors, (all of which we have discussed without end, so I won't list here), a certain amount of which is expected, as there is no team that sustains for 100% of the season. The question will be whether or not at the time of the playoffs they will be healthy and more consistent with their application of defense and game-plan, because when they execute the way they're capable of, I believe they can beat anyone. As it is with any season, it will come down to timing, and in what shape we'll be in come crunch time.
