I will be a dreamy place if the Giants sign both Rolle and Dansby.

But I expect them to just sign Rolle and then draft the middle LB in the 1st round (since Miami would be more likely not to if they sign Dansby)
You think Rolando McClain is their guy in the first round

He's the best ILB in the draft I just don't know if he will fall that far given he's definitely top 10 in talent

It depends on the mock.

I think they would love to have him.

Of course if they get both Dansby and Rolle, the focus switches to DT and OT.

I'm with you. He's there guy, if he's still there when they pick -- which looks unlikely. This could lead them to Dansby.

But you also wonder if they'll quietly gauge Osi's value on the market. If the could move up to get McClain and get additional compensation, they'd have to consider it.

I say this while thinking it sure seems like Canty would be a better fit rotating with Tuck and Kiwi at end.

Osi stays.  There is a good chance he can win the starting job back.  Either way, he fits the scheme to much.  He is worth a 1st rounder on his own in a trade.

Canty is still in the DT rotation.  He isn't the pass rusher they like at DE.  I think they need one more DT to work in rotation.

Example on such a deal:

Osi and the Giants' 1st to Detriot for the 2nd pick. Then take Suh or McCoy.

Except they do not want to give out such a contract for the 2nd pick of the draft.  (no team wants to)

I don't anticipate the Bears dealing Olsen. I think they're going to cut Desmond Clark.

I still dont think the pats go LB in the first round.  I want them to but i dont think BB will do it.  I expect to see a first round pick that nobody sees coming and then all D in the second round.
I think it depends on who is gone when they pick. I can see them grabbing Kindle or McClain if it's possible. I would like them to draft a lb first but it probably won't happen.

I'd bet most of my money on a dl with the first pick, if that doesn't happen wouldn't be shocked to see a good offensive lineman.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yes, a lot of talk about what the Giants won't spend. Personally, I think Suh would be worth it.

I feel like corner and linebacker are their biggest needs. To trade up to grab a d lineman like Suh would make their line unblockable but it would only increase a strength not correct a weakness.

They don't need corners.  The have three good corners and one decent corner.

They need the middle of the defense.

They need a DT that pushes the pocket on the pass rush so QBs don't have as much time to step up and avoid the outside rush.

They need a MLB to QB the defense and be quick enough to cover the middle zone and or TEs/RBs.

They need a safty (as long as Phillips is back and healthy) that can cover and play zone deep.

Last year, QBs got to much time to throw and the middle was always wide open.

I'm in agreement across the board here. I think d-line was once a strength but has the potential to be a real weakness if they don't upgrade.

Not that anyone cares on csblog except us. Are there more Giants fans here?

Can we please get boldin in a trade? Or Marshall? Heck even TO would probably be an awesome second wideout. When welker returns, they would have an amazing three headed monster.

Lets go big or go home.

TO and Moss?

We would easily lead the league in dropped passes with that combo

That is only one of the things that will frustrate Brady.
