We pay the bills. We buy the tickets, buy food and drink and trinkets at the concessions and watch the games on TV giving them numbers which increase the value of their TV contracts. We are passionate but don't see that same passion or commitment from the players or Doc or Danny or Wyc. Why then should we continue to do this?

? We have hung in for a long long time with this team through many bad seasons. Why can't we send them a message by not doing those things we do spending $$, showing our disapproval until they show that they wanna play. Wyc, Danny, Doc and the players are all making big, big bucks, and we are paying their salaries.
The players'lack of passion and commitment is obvious. Ever since we beat Orlando at Christmastime, due to a confluence of bad luck (with injuries), scheduling (e.g. Atlanta catching us on three consecutive occasions on the second night of back to backs, and attitude (we can beat anybody whenever we want to) resulting in some terrible losses (none worse than today)and many with blown leads, the players have played when they feel like it, playing to the level of their competition (see Knicks/Nets in 2 of last 3 games).
Danny didn't make any significant deals at the deadline to improve us now and in the future. He didn't use Ray's or any of the other expirings to do
anything substantive. Many say "well, the right deal didn't come along." I sat that that is a bunch of crap! I think that Wyc handcuffed Danny by telling him only to deal Ray for a young player and other expirings. Remember? So that was Danny's (because of Wyc) stance and that's why we "the right deal" didn't come along. It was
never going to come along given those requirements. It came down to Wyc not wanting to spend more $$ for contracts extending past this year (that is excluding the mythical "young star" we were gonna get that some chump team was gonna give us without taking any "bad" contracts). Was never gonna happen.
Wyc's and Danny's and Doc's stance (the b.s. Celtic party line that they all spew) is/was "we still like this team". That's doublespeak for we are done committing any more $$$ to this team, it's sink or swim time; the revenues will still come in.
Doc's a chump. He's a "players' coach". That's doublespeak too for someone with no balls who lets his veterans especially do anything they want. Grow a pair, Doc. Don't wimp around saying you don't know what to do. A lot of this is on you. Do something!
It seems like no one wants to do anything. The players don't wanna play. Doc has no stones and "doesn't know what to do" (you're a real leader, Doc). And Wyc won't commit so Danny can do anything else. (This trade deadline passing without cashing in on Ray's or the other expirings contracts felt like the lottery losing Duncan, the lottery getting Chauncy and Mercer and the lottery losing a chance at Durant/Oden).
Then why should we do anything as fans to financially support this team. It seems like they have all sent a message to us. LET'S SEND A MESSAGE TO THEM.
Any ideas how?
